Our Story of Gratitude

Each year, our school community comes together to celebrate the incredible teachers
and staff in our school district who make a difference in our kids’ lives every day.
This year’s theme, Our Story of Gratitude, highlights the meaningful role they play in each child’s story.
Donations Needed: Staff Lounge Libraries
As part of this year’s celebration, we are restocking the lending libraries in each of the district’s staff lounges. This is a simple way to provide our staff with something just for them to enjoy.
Please scan your bookshelves at home for any adult fiction, non-fiction, or popular reads donations.
Drop off window: April 20-May 1
Drop off location: Front office at Hartland North, Hartland South, or North Shore Middle School

We have a number of volunteer opportunities through the week. Most involved food set-up and will require an hour or less of your time. Thank you for your time!

Donate Supplies
Staff Lounge Snack Stash Restock
Date: Friday, May 1st
Our teachers and staff love having a well-stocked Snack Stash for a quick pick-me-up during the day! Each building has its own Amazon list, just add a snack or drink to your car, and it’ll ship straight to the school. If you find a great deal while you’re out shopping, you can also drop off donations in the office anytime. Please have all donations shipped or dropped off to the school front offices by Friday, May 1st.
Staff Lunch
Date: Wednesday, May 6
HLEF will be providing lunch to our staff on Wednesday, May 6th. If you’d like to help, please sign up for an item below and drop it off to the school front office by Tuesday, May 5!
MKE Pretzel Co. Donation
Purchase some pretzels to share with our amazing teachers and staff. On Friday, May 8th, HLEF volunteers will stock the school lounges with delicious pretzels and dip for everyone to enjoy. A sweet way to show gratitude for all they do.
Donate Financially
Don’t have time to volunteer or shop for supplies? Donate to our Appreciation Fund. This fund helps us celebrate and support our amazing staff all year long! Donations are used for monthly appreciation activities, Teacher Appreciation Week, and snacks that keep our teachers fueled throughout the day. The fund also helps support educational grants, giving teachers the extra resources they need to bring creative ideas to life for their students.
